It's no surprise that Coach Nickell is pregnant (obviously). Despite this, she still decided to coach the Lady Cougars this season. Sure, she is due Nov 7th, can't run, jump, bump, or set - but she can make the other Coach Nickell and Coach Gray do those things for her. Well, as of this weekend, looks like the other Coach Nickell and Coach Gray will be left to do those things on their own, without her direction and wisdom. She was admitted to the hospital this last weekend as she was considered at risk of going into preterm labor (that means the baby might come before it is supposed to…Haylee). In any case, she is done work and volleyball. The team is left in good hands with new head coach, Coach Gray. The other Coach Nickell has also said that he will help out with the girls whenever he can. She plans on coming to practice this Tuesday to make a sweet goodbye speech so you probably don't want to miss that. Goodbye for awhile, Coach Nickell, and all the best.
