Year Two

Well, the second year of Maymont soccer is here. Although we lost some definite key players the team has really developed in their understanding of the game. After receiving bronze at Provincials last year the team has some rebuilding to do. Key points we will be working on are defence, field movement, and finishing and scoring. We attempted a tournament last weekend but were rained out. We were able to get one game in against Muenster before everything was called. We ended up losing 5-0 but the score doesn't indicate how well the team played. If we could have capitalized on our chances the game could have been entirely different. Next game is at 4:00 Sept, 15th at North Battleford city fields. We are taking on Poundmaker. Hope to see everyone there.
